Mini-Vacation

If you’re planning an interstate move that you’ve turned over to a professional moving service, now is a great time to consider your private drive to the destination as a mini-vacation. Think about it; all your possessions are being cared for by someone else, you don’t have the responsibility of a residence (remember, you’re in limbo), and there’s sure to be a crush of stress when you get to your intended destination, so why not make the most of the few days in transit and treat yourself to some fun personal time. When you’re driving from Point-A to Point-B there are bound to be places of interest along the route. Before you head out on your journey check with your local AAA office to get guide books for each state you’ll be driving through. You might not have the opportunity to “pass this way” again, so seize this time for what it is. Try not to plan on driving for 12-hour days, either.
